Our Use of AI

With the rise of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), tools are rapidly evolving to change the way that we all work. These tools can create efficiencies and improve the quality of work product by allowing people to focus on both underlying substance and higher-level insights. But to adopt these tools responsibly, ThinkMedium believes in disclosing AI tool usage to ensure that clients and partners can be confident in the work produced by the team.

The following outlines how ThinkMedium is using AI within our workflows.

  • Within existing tools – ThinkMedium uses both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 as productivity suites. Many of the products in these suites include AI features (e.g., chart suggestions) that the team uses to enhance content.
  • Content creation – The ThinkMedium team does not use GenAI to generate net-new written content for clients. The team may use GenAI to test ideas and content via search and to create images. Some of our team members use Grammarly, which uses AI to suggest grammatical improvements.
  • Notes and synthesis – The ThinkMedium team may use AI programs (e.g., ChatGPT)  to capture written notes from interviews (with appropriate disclaimer to interviewees) and to execute first-pass synthesis of content, prior to additional human review. The team regularly explores AI tools for improving workflow efficiency.

We understand that some clients and partners may have guidelines and rules for using AI within their companies, and the ThinkMedium team will adapt usage based on specific requirements and notice. As technology evolves, we expect our usage to change, but with transparency, we intend to continue adopting relevant technologies in ways that drive the results and sustainability for our business – and the businesses of our clients.

We welcome input and feedback about these practices. Please email info@thinkmedium.tech.
